Welcome to Earthcare Earthshare

Earthcare Earthshare provides a ‘sustainable living’ resource for teachers to help and encourage  children ages 7-14 years to be aware of the need now to adopt more sustainable life habits and an introduction to understanding climate change and its impact on present and future generations.

In reconnecting children to their natural environment, it uses a unique and fun approach combining outdoor experiences, a love of story telling, a respect for traditional people, guided imagining and visualising activities, fantasy and fables and meditation.

With this process we would hope that by encouraging children to be sustainably sensible now, we will produce an educated and aware generation necessary to deal with the present and future environmental challenges eg. living in a less carbon dependent world.

2006 marks the second year of the launch of The International Decade of Education for Sustainability by the United Nations.  Earthcare Earthshare has responded with six principle programs.
